About the Tigers

Memorable moments in Detroit Tigers history are captured here by Rob Arra and his photographic crew. Rob was there as the Last Pitch at Tiger Stadium retired that venue after hosting 4 World Series and 9 American League Pennant-winning teams.

In April of 2000, Rob and his crew were there for the First Pitch, the season-opener at Comerica Park.

Six seasons later, Rob and his crew were in attendance as the Detroit Tigers faced the heavily-favored New York Yankees in a bid to clinch another American League Pennant as seen in Home Run Delivery.

Four games later, four victories for the Tigers. Sweep Sensation captures the moment the on-field celebration begins, as the Detroit faithful cheer in the stands. This was the Tigers' first ALCS win against the Yankees, and first Pennant win to grace Comerica Park.
